Microsoft Introducing Surface, 10.6 Inchi Tablet with Windows 8 OS

Through a press conference held in Los Angeles, United States, Microsoft officially introduced the new tablet that bears his name Surface.

The new tablet's comes with a screen measuring 10.6-inch ClearType HD whose surface has been coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

Microsoft Surface itself comes with two specific models. The first tablet, will be powered by an Intel 22nm Ivy Bridge which will give users the experience of 'Full Windows' from the OS Windows 8 Pro. While the tablet will only come with the ARM chipset that will run the operating system that are specific to Windows 8 ARM-based tablet, known as Windows RT.

A number of popular applications of Microsoft Surface tablets will be packed in, including Xbox Live, and Netflix is also the default application. The device is also reported to be equipped with USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, and a camera located at the rear and in front of the device.

Tablet with only 9.3 mm thick and weighing less than 1.5 pounds of it also comes with a Bluetooth keyboard. In the display sector, the support for two-finger touch and stylus, as well as 600 dpi "Digital Ink" for purposes of drawing, writing, and marking documents.

As quoted via Boy Genius Report, Surface tablet running Windows 8 Pro will come with a choice of internal memory capacity of 64 GB and 128 GB. As for Windows RT model will come with two choices of the memory capacity of 32 GB and 64 GB.
