The reason behind the delay in the launch of the BlackBerry
10 is depicted by the CEO of RIM Thorstein Heins recently. In addition to
explaining the reasons why the launch of the device with the latest operating
system was on his retreat, Thorstein also believes that after its launch, the
BlackBerry will be stronger.
CEO of RIM as quoted via Pocket-lint, explain to the source
on CIO.com that delays BlackBerry 10 is the right thing to do.
"We could just as scheduled, even if it means
sacrificing the quality and stability of the platform. And we decided not to do
it, because we must ensure that when providing the BlackBerry, it is the best
quality," said Thorstein Heins.
Related criticism is directed at RIM which is considered to
be 'left behind', which affects the decreasing sales of the BlackBerry, CEO of
RIM argued that it also will not left behind to innovate.
"We are also not left behind in matters of innovation,
to the level of understanding, especially in the U.S., that this trend has
changed, and that our position and our value proposition in the U.S. market
does not follow the trend has changed," he continued.
RIM also believe though it reduces the number of devices
that rains out, but the quality of products along with BlackBerry OS 10, it is
hoped will be able to restore the prestige of Canadian mobile phone vendor in
the business of mobile devices.
